![]() Yep, it's pretty much all melee, and there's alligators and stuff too. What makes it ridiculous is Joe's persona and the fact that the game plays like a 3D brawler. You're playing old man Joe, and you're running around in a swamp trying to find medicine for Zoe. No complaints about this one.Įnd of Zoe: This mode is ridiculous in a fun way. This takes place at the end of the main story and you're running around in the mines below the ground. You're Chris, you're heavily armed, and you are generally just doing bad-ass stuff. "Daughters" is a prequel to the main story of RE7, showing how it all started. "21" is also a lot of fun - it's just the card game, but I liked it. You have to run around and find foods to serve and combine. You can collect scrap material to create equipment and items.īanned Footage Vol 2: The highlight here is probably "Jack's 55th Birthday", which is pretty much Diner Dash set in the RE7 universe. "Nightmare" is also really entertaining - it's a mode where you have to take down waves of enemies, just trying to survive the night. Half of it is about luck (item spawns) and half of it is about knowing the mode. You're running through areas from the main game, but the stakes are much higher, and dying means having to restart from the beginning. It's a mode with random item spawns where you'll often die from just a couple of enemy hits. Ethan Must Die is absolutely brutal and took me a few days of just trying to complete it. ![]() Here's a quick summary in case someone is thinking about maybe checking it out:īanned Footage Vol 1: The highlights here are the "Ethan Must Die" mode and "Nightmare" mode. Have to say I'm surprised by how much content they crammed into the DLC, and by how varied (and goofy!) it is. Came back to try out some of the DLC recently and got absolutely hooked. I got the platinum for RE7 sometime last year and loved how different it was from the other recent RE games.
